Ray-Tracing

Drumset
This drumset was originally modelled with Ray Dream Design 3.0. It took about 3 months to build, and the final image shown here (drums_01.jpg) took over 3 days to render on the ol' Mac LC (16MHz 68020). A couple years later I got a Pentium, and retraced the much larger images in Corel Dream3D in a couple hours.
Room
This is one of my first ray traced images. It was made with an early version of POV-Ray.
Space
A summer project. All models done in POV-Ray. My experiment with some slightly more advanced shapes.
Wine
This is one of the first serious scenes I made with Ray Dream Designer. The label on the bottle reads "Tasty Wine".
Kristin's 21st Absolut Birthday
This is not a ray-traced image. This was completely a Photoshop project. This is modified from an actual Absolut ad. From the original ad, only the bottle and the halo around it were used in my image. Everything else is done with Photoshop ( the 2, the reflections, etc.). The larger version has a big "VOID" across it because I didn't want others taking it and putting someone else's name on it. Unfortunately... after a hard drive crash, these two are the only remaining images.
1443
My first advanced project with POV-Ray. It's walls, and a few furniture items from my old apartment.

Windows - Started as a fairly generic ray-tracing scene, but I ended up focusing on the spiral staircase. I made a very detailed parameterizable model in POV-Ray.
